Aiken is both a county in South Carolina, as well as an historic city. Aiken is one of the fastest-growing communities in the state of South Carolina. Together with Augusta, GA, it comprises the two largest cities in the CSRA (Central Savannah River Authority). Aiken is in the “heart of Thoroughbred Country” and has a rich historic culture as well as a cosmopolitan flair. Aiken is internationally recognized for its equestrian activities.
